Just last night we were texting and there is still that sexual air and we started asking each other questions, but still keeping it fairly clean. What I’m wondering is that I can’t tell if he’s only in this to hook up when he does see me or do you think he’s interested in a relationship? On our date and with talking to him we didn’t talk about sex at all in person and got a good vibe from him but whenever we text it always seems to lead to the subject. It’s fun but it could get really old really fast. What do you think my next move should be? I really think he’s a great guy and don’t want the chance to slip!

It could definitely lead to expectations for something very casual, though it’s good he didn’t presume that on the first date. Also, I would say the ball is totally in his court at the moment. You already drove to see him once, now it’s his turn. It’s not good if he feels pressured to do it and is saying it’s just not convenient right now. He knows how to find you if he is inclined to see you for a second date.

Don’t underestimate the distance. He may be hesitating because getting into a relationship with someone two hours away is not all that appealing, regardless of how attractive he finds you. I’d take a deep breath and wait for him to make the next move. Do not drive down to him again, whatever you do. It should be 50/50.

I met a guy a few weeks ago and he and I hit it off. He took me out a few days later and we had an amazing date, we just talked and got to know each other, were from the same hometown but living in LA now. That night he kissed me very sweetly a few times, and we both agreed we would make plans to see each other again.

He never really texts me, but we chat on gmail during work a lot. He usually initiates.

I went back home that weekend, as well as the next one. He also was home that second weekend. We ended up going out that weekend in our hometown for a very romantic evening, it ended passionate but still PG-13, and it was great!!
